About Our Team
At Rainbows, we offer more than childcare, we provide a nurturing environment where young minds thrive.
Our highly experienced team includes Early Years Qualified Teachers and specialists in Special Educational Needs, ensuring every child receives tailored support to grow and flourish. Each child is supported by their own key person, someone they know on a first-name basis, helping to ease the transition from home into preschool life. We also have a dedicated Special Educational Needs Coordinator, ready to offer expert guidance and support whenever needed.
We believe every child is unique. That’s why our passionate staff carefully plan learning experiences around each individual child’s needs. Key workers guide children toward meeting important milestones across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping them grow in confidence, curiosity, and capability. Warm and caring, our team places children at the heart of everything we do.
Safety is just as important as development. All staff are paediatric first aid trained and fully certified in safeguarding, in line with EYFS requirements.

I have worked at Rainbows for 23 years. I really enjoy the interesting and varied opportunities this role provides, as every day is different. I sincerely believe it is a privilege to work with young children and their families and love being an important part of our local community. In my spare time, I enjoy taking my crazy dog Milo for walks, doing Aqua fit classes and seeing musical theatre shows in London.

I have been a member of staff at Rainbows for 18 years. Over the years I have enjoyed seeing many children develop, make friends, learn and enjoy the setting. I am a mum of 1, and in my spare time I enjoy working out in the gym, reading and going to the cinema.

I have been working at Rainbows for 21 years. I especially love all things creative and really enjoy this at preschool. I love watching children develop and grow, ready for their next steps. I am a mum of 3 children and in my spare time I enjoy walking my 2 dogs and tap dancing.

I have been working at Rainbows for 15 years. I love working with children as everyday is unique. I so enjoy all the different ages and stage - one of the many reasons why I love my job! In my free time I play tennis and enjoy spending time with family and friends.

I have worked at Rainbows for 9 years. I love seeing children’s enjoyment and development of skills to help them on their learning journey. I have 2 boys and in my spare time I love dance, music, swimming, learning new things and having adventures travelling.

I have been a member of staff at Rainbows for 16 years. I enjoy sharing my gardening, wildlife and cooking skills with the children and reap the rewards from their achievements and pleasures. I have 3 children and in my spare time I like walking, gardening, enjoying my pets and going out in London with my daughter.

I have been a member of staff at Rainbows for 12 years. I love watching a child discover a new skill, concept or reasoning and the amount of energy, enthusiasm and varied ideas they come up with –I’m still learning that there are new ways to use a cardboard box! I am a mum of 3 boys and when not at Rainbows I can usually be found in the woods with my spaniel, exploring and camping in our camper van.
